I don't recommend playing this deck if you have any interest in making friends lol.
This deck is a work in progress so I'm going to be making changes to it somewhat regularly. However I'm not going to be removing references to cards I removed from this description, so if you see something that isn't currently on the list, it will be listed in the "Revisions" at the bottom. Feel free to experiment with any of the past cards, they all synergize pretty well with the decks overall plan so you cant really go wrong swapping out a playset or two.
Okay so I made a lot of changes to this list, now it is more aggro oriented but many of the aggro components also ramp or synergize with ramp and this list has been playing out really smooth. the infinite combo is more of a backup plan, with beatdown being sufficient quite often.
Pretty straightforward just fish out a
Genetrix Irel, Wayward with
Imperial Loyalist, or
Reweave, ramp to 10 power, and get
Rewind from the market, Genetrix prevents you from discarding the unleash copy of Rewind at end of turn, granting you an extra turn, every turn. (Unless they have fast removal or a counterspell, obviously you just win. You can draw your whole deck playing all the power cards until you can ultimate Marshall Ironthorn, cast Leave a Witness, or just wear them down with attacks from anything, after each of their units blocks once it will be exhausted and you can just swing again on your next turn, and the next etc..... )
Timeless Bond, and Reweave both trigger the Loyalist and
Hojan, Crownbreaker. You can get Genetrix, or Auralian Merchant/Speed Grafter depending on what you need at the time. Crownbreaker is there for ramp and early skirmishing/lifesteal while you set up your combo.
Ephemeral Wisp is a card you can sacrifice to reweave and also helpful as a blocker to stall out until you can hit 10 power, its also pretty sweet with
Orene's Scepter, growing every time you bring it back.
Speed Grafter is in the deck so you can access the market with a unit that costs 2 in case you need both parts of the combo when you target Imperial Loyalist with Reweave, shifting Genetrix and using the Renown trigger to pick up speed grafter. You can also just play Genetrix and shift an
Auralian Merchant but I prefer to shift Genetrix because of the protection it provides.
Oh and
Leave a Witness is the board wipe I chose because the combo only requires one unit (Genetrix) to be afield. allowing us to clear the board without setting back our combo.
Also can be pretty slick if used on
Imperial Loyalist to pick up an
Auralian Merchant in order to swoop something from the market before everything but the Loyalist is wiped. (so obviously don't grab Genetrix unless you have a plan to get her from the void)
I chose this style of ramp over +x maximum power units/relics because its more reliable. Units and relics get killed all day.
Aside from
Rewind most of the market is just random situational stuff that can easily be swapped out.
I added
Diana, Faith's Shield and
Stormhalt Plating to help close out games and expedite the win, playing 20 turns in a row can be boring if you're just slowly chipping away at an opponent who doesn't understand that they will never get another turn/is so stubborn they will make you kill them all the way.
This is very much a work in progress and I welcome any and all constructive criticism.
