This is my take on
Talir, Looking Forward. Given that costs are rounded down after being halved, odd-costed cards get discounted favorably, which gave me the idea for this deck.
Patrice, Outcast Queen pairs naturally with this, giving warp to all our units and charge to most, even after the discount. Of note is
Relentless Hare, which can catch many opponents off guard and often flat out wins the game if you can manage to play it on turn 4.
The market is fairly flexible. Other options I would consider are
Caravan Draftbeast, which can give you access to power more reliably than
Tight-Lipped early on, as well as
Steelwarren Rebel, allowing you to remove attachments at ambush speed for 3 power if Talir is on the field (2 for the delivery + 1 for the rebel).
There are probably improvements that can be done to the power base. While I usually have no trouble hitting my influence requirements, I find that most of my power comes in depleted. This hasn’t been a major problem in bronze and silver but it might prove too slow at higher ranks.
With all that said, I’ve been having tons of fun with this list. I hope others can find some success, or at least have a good time with it.
