Information

Deck named after a Magic the Gathering archetype that revolves around sacrificing creatures for value. The strategy here is somewhat simple: play your grenadines, deal some damage here and there, but always trying to spare them as much as possible until you draw Disassemblers and Stonescar Scrappers. Then you have your value engine going and even a sweeper might not be enough to stop you, as killing multiples grenadines and Disassembler at once can one shot your opponent.

I recently managed to craft some merchants for extra value and flexibility, though the original intention was to fetch Witching Hour (which sadly doesn't work as I wanted). If you know other janky finisher I could use, feel free to comment (I still cannot craft Gearcrunchers and Scraptanks).

I would put Black Iron Manacles in the market over Mob Rule. That's your ace in the hole against control and combo. Bloodrite Kalis is another possible, though jankier market card especially against unit-light decks. There's also Pillar of Dreams, though I think that's a bit expensive for what it does, it does fit the Aristocrats game plan. Memory Dredger is a consideration for bringing back things like Disassembler. However, if you're willing to go for a more midrange grindy gameplan then Tasbu, the Forbidden is the ultimate card value engine for a grenadin deck.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I opened a Memory Dredger today and really liked it. I'll see if I can craft another copy of it and replace the Brimstone Altars with them (although, on second thought, the Dredger and the Altar together create an interesting loop). I wasn't aware of Black Iron Manacles being an effective counter to control and combo, thanks for the heads up. I might remove either Rally or Calderan Gunsmith from my market because they feel kind of redundant. Tasbu is also a card I should try soon.
