Against aggro: defiance and hailstorm are really important
Against midrange: harsh rule or icebolt
Against control: sanctum, merchant, or a lot of draw spells
Typically you want at least some form of draw spell and early removal in your starting hand. Also only take a 2 power hand if you're going 2nd or have strategize or eilyns favor.
This deck can win without sanctum but it also helps a lot with the late game. I hope this helped if you have any other questions just ask.
