The deck is a go wide value building deck. It leverages creating value by casting 5 power creatures at the right time. Doing so brings out the real power of dawnwalker. The deck doesn't run traditional removal spells instead opting for the xenan infiltration to give a small stat boost and killer to dawnwalker to make it a reoccurring removal spell. The overwhelm on dawnwalker means no damage from it is ever wasted and overflow of the damage can win you games even on gummed up boards.
Example: if your dawnwalker is a 5/2 your opponent is at 4 life it's best to have it kill a 1 toughness creature and let 4 damage trample over for a win compared to removing a larger threat.
When obelisk is up it can make it so even your early game threats can bring back up dawnwalker.
The friendly twinbrood sauropod is great to slow play and use to bring back dawnwalker over multiple turns with one card. It's also the prime target for dark return since you'll get 2 6/5 dinos when they are dark returns target boosting them and creating card advantage and are great enablers of dawnwalker.
The deck is easy to go wide with or against decks like armory slow roll with powerful reoccurring threats. The early game most decks won't want to waste removal on 1/1 and 0/2 creatures but with obelisk they will become significant threats later. The other threats dodge poplar removal like torch.
Since your removal doesn't get cast on enemy creatures you don't need to be concerned with ageis. Units with killer will happily eat them. By the time large threats like icaria hit the board your killer buffed 7/3 dawnwalkers will be more than ready to eat them.
Weaknesses of the deck are silence leaving our dawnwalkers dead for good and bad starts against agro. The later in game you get the more you'll just start to out value other decks with reoccurring dawnwalker trades and ever-growing obelisk buffs.
