Hello. Bear with me here, it's my first foray into deck posting. I've played enough, and have found the perfect deck archetype. I know there are critics of the multicolour approach, but like I said, bear with me; you are fairly safe if you want to give this a whirl. Its win/loss rate is immaculate, in that I've never played it, and never will, cause I'd hate to be disappointed by multiple bad opening hands again. (You think it couldn't? I posit that it could, given that I have included some competitive on-colour cards (Soulflame Rider, Lastlight Judgement), and some expensive colourless stuff (like you'll ever last long enough to play Spirit of Resistance)).
You might think that this deck could work (with changes) as a Merriest Mandrake novelty, or an actually functional decimate deck, but again, don't expect two colours by turn four under any circumstances. Sure, I've seen some three colour deck play out big purple Icaria on turn six, or five-colour draft decks play all the nonsense (drafted whimsically because it looked pretty) without problems, but any time I try and do something creative in two colours my deck just farts and giggles like a bad seventies sitcom laughtrack...
Pluses; It has Strangers (when did a five colour stranger deck ever lose?)
Minuses; It DOES have coloured cards in it (you could correct this by playing all the dual-colour strangers and have mindlessly unplayable rainbow coloured porridge, but some of my card choices are an attempt to offer a bit of resistance. For example, Momentum Builder can block Milos all day).
And don't worry, the chants will almost always get you a sigil you can reliably put into play... I think...
And if you need that missing mana (I mean influence), lean heavily into that Veteran Strategist thing. Another blocker for Milos... take that, bootlicker! oh, wait... umm...)
