Rat Cage and other relics allow you to rapidly lower the cost of Witching Hour, draw cards with Lethrai Courtier and Vault of the praxis, and of course revive Star-Reader Severin later on.
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Hey thanks for the ideas. I don't have anywhere near the cards for this but I was working on the fearbinder and secret passage combo on one of my decks. Vara fate touched worked really well because I could replay all the shadow cards in my void including the fears sum. I am struggling with Severin as well. Cool card but I just haven't found how other choices aren't better than what I was using him for.
I have been brainstorming a similar deck however due to the current state of my collection that is as far as its gotten, no testing done. That being said I hope I can pick your brain on some things since it seems you actually seen some play.
First do you just lose to bore? It seems like this strategy of deck would flounder without its relic engine set up and if it gets completely dismantled after being set up, that just feels like game over.
Second is the idea of severin, and wisps being able to recur dawnwalker a bit of a pipe dream or have you been able to pull that off fairly often? Additionally have you explored the option of using Porcelain Mask and Shepherd's horn along with katra to not only beef out your rat army but also get more payoff from your recursive units. Obviously that approach would require a rather large change to your list but perhaps you tried that at first?
Finally, now that you have more time to play with severin, is he worth it? A small part of me feels he might not be worth the effort to get him to work but a far larger part of me wants to use my fancy promo cards
Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I wait for the shiftstone to come in.
