I love almost every synergy of this deck. The only things that dont seem to do much are devotee and capihus. I know you can drop stuff faster with devotee, but often times I end up stuck on 4 power for several turns without it or wishing it was something else when I get it. When the deck draws heavy into its 4 and 6 drops, I cant do enough. I dont have any suggestions at the moment, just making some observations. This deck crushes gauntlet though.

I think devotee is needed for acceleration, but you can always try other stuff in its place. As for Caiphus i have played a lot with this deck before the nerfs to palace, and it was really good against Hooru control. I think you still need some form of top end to the deck, Azindel might be one option but i'm not sure.

Azzy did cross my mind, this would be keeping devotee in I believe. Or maybe I can find room for eternity core to bridge the gap, I will do some testing.

I know one person that got to master this month with a similar list, though not me, i'm only playing Tasbu decks on ranked ladder right now.
