This is what I just used to climb to masters.
It is very consistent, sometimes the dream combo of Behemot + Mystic Ascendant + Alhed happens, but mostly you are controlling the early game with removal spells and your 2-3 cost creatures and then answering with a lot of big stuff that can break the game on their own.
I could use some advice on the market, but so far this is it. Banner is there to fix mana influence (and sometimes make sure you can ramp straight from merchant to Alhed or Behemot), Predatory Carnosaur is the best removal spell in the game, killer helps sometime and one xenan obelisk mostly to trigger Auric Interrogator, sometimes to pack a bit of extra punch. but it is my least picked thing of the market.
It isn't awesome against anything, but it challenges all the other midrange decks pretty well; big creatures vs big creatures, you do have a bunch of removal spells to help you against them. Banish kills opposing xenan obelisks, so it's not a big deal either.
It can suffer against anything with a madness and the unitless control decks. It doesn't really have a good answer to harsh rule (so I'm thinking about packing sabotage either on the main or on the market in the place of the obelisk).
Overall this is the big xenan deck made popular by other players, but trying to take advantage of the new mechanics. A lot of fine tuning those lists later and this is what got me to masters. So thank you everyone.
As far as harsh rule that's a consideration but I haven't personally ran into it very much yet myself
