Information

An Inspire-based Crownroach deck that is fairly all-in on the Combo of making cheap fatties by using Inspire units and then making copies of the Inspired units. This combo is less dependent on Crown that some other Crown decks I've played. The combo consists of 3 parts basically:

- Journey Guide and Living Example: These are the two main Inspire units used in the combo, both affect your drawn units in ways that Crown can't. Whether you play them on-curve or not can change how you utilize them. If you curve out with them anything you draw gets Inspired by them while they stick which can be heavily draw-dependent. If you draw them later you can sometimes hold them until you have some of the other combo pieces. Of these two I always prioritize Guide since the cost reduction is more important typically. Alhed is one of the other Inspire unts ran. He's more expensive so he is harder to combo with, but, he can flat-out win the game if you do. He can function in two ways: the same ways as the other two Inspire units, and if you play something cheap enough you can use his Ultimate to put it on the top of the deck right away; play him when you have something on board already that you hope to use his Ultimate on, and hope he doesn't get removed in the meantime.

- Meditation, Second Sight, Twinning Ritual: Your main spells to make copes of units, they all function pretty different. Twinning Ritual is the best way to make copies of your units. Typically you'll want to use Ritual on Echo units, though sometimes if you have a good hit off Crown you might target a non-echo unit or do so because of the matchup. Best used when you have your Inspire units on board. Second Sight serves a couple functions, to dig into your deck and make copies of your units by putting them on top. While it isn't as good of a draw spell as Strategize, because you have to put something on top which can suck if you whiff, nor as good of way to make copies of units, because it's dependent on your Inspire units or Crown to stick on the board until your next turn if you don't combo it with other draw spells, it does get the job done. Meditation Meditation has some of the same downsides are Sight, what it does do though is potentially save you best unit from being removed. Strategize isn't by itself a combo piece, it can be used with Meditation or Sight. You can also hold it until you have Inspire units on board to try and draw units to hit.

- Clockroach, Sauropod, and Thunderstrike Dragon: Your Echo units and main targets for you combo.

Sorry if this is a bit messy, I got tired of writing this a couple sentences in so I'll come back late to fix it, add more about the cards in both the deck and Market. With the deck almost exactly like this, ~2 card difference, I have so far gone 21-9. I kept track of more games than that but the different takes on it made it run fairly different. I'll update once I try some new things, mainly no Dancers and 4x Alhed.

Running this type of deck without the sweepers feels bad

Yeah, this deck can be good but it really depends on the ladder meta. You certainly can try running Hailstorm but it'd make it a lot trickier to get value from your early Inspire cards, you would have to bet on being able to combo them instead of getting value from them just sitting on the board. Have you tried Hailstorms yet?

dancer has been such a dissappointment =''(

Yeah, so far I haven't been impressed which is sad since Crown is one of my favorite decks. I do need to craft a whole set and play with her more before I make up my mind. You play with her a lot?
