Information

Hey there everyone... I am back with another (hopefully) fresh take on Prodigious Sorcery!... this time I’m aiming in the direction of getting the bolt combo off without fire faction or garden.

A lot of refining went into the deck, but I believe this is currently the best version. Lots of draw and market fodder between merchants and transpose. In this case, everything is 4 cost in the market, to really benefit transpose, while the merchant is there to fetch anything you threw back that wasn’t a 4-drop.

Mokhnati is the top end, unit-win-con. He closes games quickly, and if he is killed, of course you draw tons of gas.

Deck had to be centered around drawing and removal for blue, which is crucial as you need to stabilize long enough to get the combo off, which is the static bolt + prodigious sorcery. Initially the deck ran a playset of sorcery, but with re-read in the main, and resurface in the market, I’ve found that this build can find sorcery when you actually need it, instead of drawing a dead card.

I would love to hear any thoughts or comments. Currently, (including testing and revamping), I am 14-6 with the deck, after 20 games.

It’s a fresh idea for me, and I look to optimize the deck further. Thanks for checking in! Enjoy!

Very interesting concept, have you play tested with Jotun Feast-Caller ?

I actually did not want to.. I have a playset of him, but I felt like it was a little bit slow.. I care more about keeping the board safe.. and if he survives, he can actually draw too many cards which is odd.. so I’ve opted not to put him... if you find a way to make him fit, I’d love to see it!

Hahaha but seriously!!... when he’s up to like 5 or 6... you start discarding all of the best cards! Lol
