Oooh. I totally forgot that scythe decks were a thing. I think with the new gates card I am going to try and brew this as a full otk combo deck. With 2 buffs its very well possible to be swinging for 16+ damage, several of which can be used before the scythe drops. Would probably move touch of force to market over sower. I generally prefer some cheaper removal than fell ritual, particularly when running harsh rule. Stonepowder seems just generally better than Welpling particularly if you keep touch of force maindeck

Value card for Voprex Choice as it allows pulling Nightmare Dragon from void. I felt like losing the fast effect was worth the trade-off, but your mileage may vary. Certainly a viable option. Thanks!

A fair criticism, as I am a returning player. Whelp admittedly was used as a solid and versatile body. While I like the idea of Blacksmith or Traveler their 4 cost feels a bit high to really synergize powerfully here. But again, I am no professional.

Gotcha, was just curious for the choice.
If you add more relics in Rakano Artisan would pull off some crazy value as well as having a similar body to whelp.

Indeed! We actually considered him strongly in the first version of the deck which included Auric Runehammers, but ultimately decided on dragons/board wipes instead as they felt more in line with Fell Ritual & Dragon Forge. We really did vacillate a bunch on them though ,so I wil likely try a separate build with Artisans very soon!
