Our opponent is playing Xenan. He has a lot of life gain and can play from the void. His method of choice for removal is killer with cards like Xenan Initiation and big boy Predatory Carnosaur. Xenan Cultist and Lumen Defender can be quite annoying. So our plan is to embrace death to buff our board and gain tempo. With an abundance of entomb and 'unit dies' effects, we have foiled our opponent's plan to killer us to death. Umbren Deathwatcher and Soul Collector can get very big. Use your Dark Return wisely. If you have a Shadowlands Guide and/or a Memory Dredger, they work great here..
