So, basically a "hate out the meta" deck. This is a fairly rough draft, but I'll try and explain the idea:
With the new set, we got a lot of void shenanigans (whether Vara reanimator or Feln self-mill/"dredge"), and on ladder, skycrag and its usual assortment of aggro decks is still running around as well.
So, it goes to reason that a deck that can play
Genetrix Irel, Wayward and
Grand Suppressor can probably do some damage here by shutting off all the summons on discard dorks, and efficient units like 3/3s or 3/4s for 2, 4/4s for 3, and combat tricks can outscale aggro on the board. Other combo decks will also have a tough time because as an aggro deck, you're fairly quick to goldfish people, especially with overwhelm combat tricks.
Furthermore, the new
Gavel's Insight can both win in combat and punish a stray naked sling, which is most likely by far your worst matchup, since their huge units just make yours look boring and small. You also have
Vanquisher's Blade to contest. Oh, and if you see a crest of fury, for the love of god, do **not** play your Grand Suppressor unless you want to risk giving your opponent an 8/8 flyer for 2.
Other choices are the 8 ramp dorks since
Logistics Expert is a reasonable topdeck, meaning you get 8 ramp dorks for 4 crummy topdeck slots, which I think is a better tradeoff than Broti (who screws over Cykalis) and Borderlands lookout, but I may be mistaken here.
Market is a crescendo market (because of suppressor) with 3 spells, an enforcer, and a winchest merchant. Obviously, they're not so great when you have suppressor out on the board, but can be clutch when pulled at proper times.
Teryius is actually fairly reasonable. 3-drop with aegis, 4/4 if blocked that makes market fodder is no joke, albeit not necessarily a world-beater either.
In any case, so long as the meta's gonna be 1-drop aggro and void decks, this is *probably* a well-positioned deck, but might lose some of its appeal if we return to a bit more of a sane environment, which we may with an upcoming patch.
In any case, here you go, enjoy, and let me know how it goes.
