I know what you're thinking = this deck looks like total garbage. But hear me out!
The reason I'm posting this is because I think there is A LOT of potential for this at the moment. And I just went about 17-3 in ranked while in gold with it.
I cringed when I had to craft 4
Eager Owlet, 2
Spared Fate and a
Cloudsnake Saddle just to test this. And they are cards I would not recommend crafting.
And honestly, a lot of cards in this deck are just plain bad. Dropping almost any unit doesn't feel strong. Dropping Owlet or Wild Cloudsnake just feels wrong 😂 especially on an empty board. AND they just nerfed Helana.
OK, enough bashing. If you're still reading: This deck is good against the meta, because it kinda ignores it.
Dinosaur Nests are ignored and dinos are cleaned up with
Spared Fate. That card is actually great here. Blizzard just your opponents units! And relics? Relic hate? I play neither. No relics. Not even the amplify land ones. Make their cards dead in hand. And other people are skipping out on the
Pit of Lenekta, and such. Hope is to win before anything becomes a problem 😅 Sweep their small stuff, Permafrost or Diminish the fatties. Thinking of going all in on
Diminish because of
Furious Magniventris.
To this deck,
Cora, Thundering Steps has little impact as it plays mostly units. Elysian Dinos is something I haven't played against yet. Lowkey scarred of Killer problems. But there are many great Hooru Cards that can be added against that if needed.
Plunk? Ignore him. In my last game, opponent played
Xultan Ambassador, and then 2
Plunk Wumpkin. Gotta admit, I was scared. Not only that, but I raced him. He drew about 10 cards over the course of 5 turns. And so long as he didn't have life gain and I did, as well as aegis, I was fine. Just flew over it all. It felt amazing 😂 he drew so many cards that his next turns were always with no power because he had so much debt so I could work around it.
Another thing that went well, is the opponent just doesn't know what to do. Because no one plays this. They don't expect an Aegis 10/10 flying/lifesteal/aegis to the face around turn 6.
Anyway. I think it still needs help. A lot of the numbers of cards are at 3 because I'm still unsure. The 2
Stormhalt Concoction is the first card that needs to go. (Edited: already removed) Too hopeful minded. Deck feels like it needs a few more good hitters and card draw. Maybe
Tormented Crown, or Svetya's Decreee? Would certainly go with the theme of underdog surprises.
I think this deck has potential to be a thing. But only because of a REALLY WEIRD meta. Can you help make it a thing?

Second, as you say, you have a lot of 3 of that should be 4. They include the Eyes, the Serpent, and Helena.
Third, get rid of Alchemy Student, Cyber Skimmer, Tormented Crown and Obstructive Flicker.
Fourth, consider Hooru Sentry.
Finally, play Plunk. Any deck tempo or aggro deck that can play him should.
I actually started out with Pteriax Mount and swapped him for Alchemy Student. As the deck was mostly fliers anyway, I valued the lifesteal over the flying. Student is pretty much there to give Feral Serpent or Helana, Skyguide lifesteal. And he's actually working out really well. Giving Pteriax himself the buff isn't worth it. The board clear card gives flying as well. So really not a big need for more flying.
