Updated deck for current release. Added in Crests to even out the influence.

Seeing a lot of Temporal Distortion decks so I added Azindel's Gift and Valkyrie Harvester. The Harvester is great when they cast Harsh Rule on your turn!

Shush can truly wreck a deck; any Makto deck, any type of Champion, Roaches, etc. Had to have it in this deck.

How would you recommend tweaking this deck for the current aggro hell-meta? I've wanted to play a Makto deck for ages, but can't justify sleeving up a control deck without a plan to counter all the aggro out there.

Hope and pray, mostly ;) I hope to get a good draw. If you get one you can handle the aggro. Vara's favor, Piercing Grief, Dark return, until you get to Harsh Rule.
I've thought about taking out Scheme and Devour for Suffocates, Annihilates and Devastating Setback, but it really hurts the deck if you're not playing aggro.

Basically, I've not found a good solution. 2 cards that have really helped this deck are the crests and waystones.

I feel ya mate. I'm playing Temporal Control at the moment and struggling with the same issue. It's really tough to build a hand/deck that is good in the dark vs control and aggro.

And I was so glad to find your well thought out and balanced deck.
