This is an extremely long winded, meme-y, and fun combo deck, built around
Amaran Camel,
Mask of Torment, and
Talir's Unwinding. I've gone through a few iterations of this deck since the market change hosed me hard, and this is what I've come upon to be the most fun and consistent.
The core goal of the deck is to assemble a critical density of draw-seven effects in your deck until you can loop them, recasting them each time, thanks to
Messenger Hawk. This will build up a massive amount of maximum power, which you can either refresh using
Sodi the Metamorph, or simply pass the turn and survive thanks to your huge bulwark of extra life. Ultimately, you'll usually win the game by assembling a pair of merchants and a whole lot of power, and fetching both
Starved Vorlunk and
Savagery from your market, playing a huge dinosaur, and killing your opponent via a big dumb killer monster. As a backup plan, you can activate the ultimate on several Masks, but be aware that if you don't kill your opponent quickly, and they are able to kill your Tormentors, this can be VERY awkward if you have to start looping Unwindings again.
Possible improvements to the deck are mostly in the power base (though it is surprisingly consistent) and in putting a card that isn't terrible in the market in place of
Brilliant Idea, but I like it so I haven't changed it. Also, don't play this deck expecting to win. Play this deck because you want to take a 10 minute long turn. You certainly can win games, thanks to the decent amount of life you gain, and access to acceptable blockers, but it's not competitive by any means.
