My most recent stab at making a Xenan deck. It's focused around pumping out big boards and golems using Bloodcall Invoker. The focus of the deck is building up big boards and eventually using the Golems from the invoker to gain advantage either through sheer numbers, or a Vara combo play.

The deck is low on removal, focusing mostly on using the Stand Together's or Xenan Initiations to take out other minions. The Blistersting Wasps exist mostly to lock up the board-state until you gain advantage, or eat early removals like suffocate so your Invokers have a chance to do their work. It's better than it seems though, since Killer gets recharged when a minion is brought back from the void.

I opted for Auric Interrogator as the main card draw engine, since the deck has a lot of ways to activate him and doesn't really mind the self-damage he incurs. Plus, people tend to blow early removal and vanquishes on him, leaving your other midrange minions space to develop.

The 4-drops: I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the 4-drop package, and settled on Xenan Cupbearer + Devoted Theurge. I have a variant that runs Stonepowder Alchemist instead of cupbearer, but I eventually ended up preferring cupbearer's more defensive statline to stave off aggression. Stonepowder did have the potential to be very gross though, especially if your combo ends up on the board. Theurge is in the deck because, depending on your obelisk loadout and if you have an Invoker in play, his ability basically says "make a giant golem" every turn.

The Vara are in there because the golems produced by the Invokers will trigger Vara's effect. Between this combination and the Stand Together's, you have a number of tactics that will either protect you from board wipes, or allow you to rebuild your board following a wipe.

The Worldjoiner exists as a 1-off mostly because I think it's a really cool card. Also it helps you break through a locked board. But mostly because she's a sweet, big minion. Have you ever heard the sound effect when her ability procs? You should. It's really satisfying.

Katra, the Devoted is not in here because Golem decks are very different from Katra decks. Also I do not have Katra. Please do not ask me about Katra.

It's still a work in progress, but I'm finally at a point where I'm happy sharing it with people. I feel like the Xenan / Justice combo of colors has a lot of potential. If you like big boards and minions, with the potential for a disgusting Vara combo, then this deck is pretty fun.

Ivarian Eternal Version: 1.25.1
Hey, very new player here but had most of the pieces for at least the shell of the deck. Do you think you could add a guide section for the deck? What kinds of hands are worth keeping (when should we mulligan), and as for lack of removal, have you thought of running some removal from shadow? Extract for example. (also works well because it gains us 3 life for our life force cards).

Sure, I'll work on a guide section! I need some more time with the deck first, though. There are some changes I might be making, which is why it's a work in progress!

Regarding Shadow Removal: I had an earlier version of this deck that ran a whole suite of shadow removal cards. Things like Suffocate, Banish, Annihilate and Deathstrike. I ended up having to cut a lot of it for this version of the deck, though. In this deck, our minions are the removal, and we tend to be able to double-dip on Killer effects with cards like Dark Return and Vara. I still hung onto two Vanquishes in case of Tavrod, but running a full suite of the comparable Deathstrike puts too much weight on our 4-cost slot. I'll definitely have it on the sideboard for if I run into way too much Tavrod, Auric Broker, though!

Extract is definitely a fun card, but when I used it I felt it didn't do enough. Most of the minions in the deck are statted to deal with small enemy minions, so the problems we're going to have are in removing priority targets or big fatties. Since Extract only does a flat 3 damage, I would have to also toss in a minion and hope my opponents block with the correct minion to get the removal value I need out of it. That being said, I don't think Extract has a good place in this deck. Maybe in a different deck! With our colors and necessities, Slay is probably better. So you may see that phase in as the deck gets revised.
