There's really nothing that compares. He's one of the main reasons to play Skycrag. You can try Censari Brigand, but the deck will perform significantly worse.
Hi man, thanks for the deck! I'm a new player (about a month) and I've been trying to save dust to craft something competitive. This was really cheap and brought me to diamond in no time! I was wondering, though, if you had any suggestions for the Rakano matchup, as I'm pretty much getting crushed by it (flyers/lifesteal/endurance are really hard to cope with if you don't get torch). I tried Rockslide but it feels underwhelming (can only kill Oni Ronin/Outlaw effectively) and almost useless in non-aggro matchups, went looking for some silence but then realized Skycrag has no silence at all! I know the matchup is supposed to be unfavorable, but is there something effective I can do about it or just live with it? I really like the speed of the deck, Rakano feels more about "get a really big flying/aegis/lifesteal minion" which I find kind of boring. Thanks again!
This deck work like chess,i mean that the winning condition is the right moves of your units(not a combo or to draw a special card) .Sometimes you must attack others not ,sometimes you must sacrifice a unit others to bluff ,also very important is to keep mind for weapons when and where to play them .If you do all that right and luck is 50-50 , i can tell ,from my expierence, can win any type of decks.
Rakano is one of this deck's worst matchups. The best card against them is Groundbreaker - it stops their lifesteal and is very difficult for them to remove (dodges Vanquish). I don't think the card is worth it for ladder play because it's clunky and it can be hard to get FFF. If you're really running into a lot of Rakano you can give it a try. It's not bad against Argenport Midrange either.
It doesn't. Attack with Rakano Outlaw and Vadius, Clan Father every time. Even when you don't have Torch or Mortar, bluff that you do. They won't block because Sandstorm Titan is so valuable against this deck. Alternatively you can suit up the quickdraw units with weapons to get them to 6 attack. Non-endurance fatties are much easier - Permafrost them or exhaust them with Cinder Yeti.
