Just ran a Gauntlet with this deck. Got to the final boss (Everlasting Life; a JS recursion deck with Vara, Fate-Touched, Venomspine Hydra, and The Tormentor from Whispers in the Void, and they start with 50 life), and held my own. It went about 20 turns before I just couldn't keep up with the recursive threats.

Definitely a solid starting deck for beginners, with easy direct upgrades like Cult Aspirant over Disciplined Amanera, and Katra, the Devoted and Beckoning Lumen over Umbren Thirster and Voyaging Lumen.
