Original brew created by Me and Rokoku. We worked tirelessly to tune this. So before Endra get's the big N, here's something to mess with in Expedition format.
The deck is relatively simple to play. You don't need Endra in your hand to win with this list but it might be up to the gods if you fizzle out. So in order to combo with this list, you have to play a
Harmony of Flame at some point (hopefully on turn 3 or 4) and then drop a
Trickster Mage +
Glimpse the Possibilities . It's optimal to cast 2 Harmonies or have 2 Tricksters out over 1 to make the glimpse more safe.
This list's only enemy is it's own power. 25 sigils like to fuck with your warpiness so to combat this, we've included
Packbeast +
Talir's Sanctum +
Torgov's Trading Post . All these cards let you play more sigils from the top and see less sigils while comboing.
Torgov's Trading Post is also extremely useful in this list because it's 2 power so it can be glimpsed off the top and it casts
Call the Ancients which are also 2 power cards. This puts more trees and less sigils on top of your deck.
Re-read is almost always used to get glimpse back if you fizzle so save it for that.
Tend the Flock is the site protector, it costs 2, it synergizes with
Harmony of Flame and is generally just anti-aggro, time-buying goodness.
Display of Instinct and
Kairos' Choice are used to bounce Endra in order to deal face damage to your opponent. This is the pay off.
The rest of the list is pretty self explanatory. Spell damage smugglers and draw spells.
The market is a work in progress, open to suggestions.
Mulligans:
Having your colors is preferable but you can get away with only having 2 of the 3 colors to start somewhat often.
Packbeast on turn 2 can REALLY help getting the deck online quicker.
Endra is always great to see but not necessary.
Glimpse is another extremely nice card to see in your starting hand.
Generally you are looking for 1 or 2 combo pieces or a hand that can get to 4 or 5 power quickly.
Don't spend Displays and Kairos Choices loosely. This deck can win in a turn so sandbagging damage is encouraged,
Alright ladies and gents, time to storm away on ladder.
Also sorry Rokoku <3
Great work.
It'll be a lower starting investment for me that way.
