I'm always been a superfan of token/sacrifice decks since the early days of eternal, i was very sad for the nerf of
Shrine to Karvet, but I think it was a reasonable change.
I never liked the menace trove lists, for my personale taste, I've always prefered a destruction version, filled with a bunch of strong relics to abuse of
Rat Cage.
The deck is build to squeeze
Praxis Trove as much as possible, it becomes expecially crazy playing
Kato, Arena Herald, you play it, trove plays
Combust, sacrifice Kato himself,
Kato Shade actives the trove again for
Devour.
Before Karvet nerf the best play was use
Display of Destruction to reach on third turn the 6 power required to play
Strange Burglar and draws bunch of card on the early turns, and then, set the strategy, the best way to win is to never have lack of cards.
After the nerf I moved the strange in the market to not have too many 4 cost drops, and I think I ls a reasonable change, as it's practically a 6 drop, pretty much for a "I wanna play as much cards as possible in a turn" deck.
The main reason why I don't play the deck very much in ladder, and it's main nightmare, is
Tocas, Waystone Harvester that almost completely blocks the entire strategy, and the solution, playing
Defile in the main deck is petty hurting, since Devour is a vital card to not going out of gas, unfortunately, this combination of faction doesn't has something as
Shush.
Evrery tips is more than welcome.
