The most successful gauntlet deck I have built to date. Often 7-0 in gauntlet. Of note, I had been on hiatus from the game for about 2 years and have not updated the list yet. Surprisingly, last 2 runs still 7-0. Write up to follow, feedback always welcome.
Basic strategy: Play sling, follow with creatures which trigger. Use desert alchemist liberally for plunder to get power, if no petition are drawn. Deck is built for consistency and not speed.

**Update** deck updated and list adjusted. Larai added for better sling consistency- inscribe cards added for power smoothing. Mana base adjusted (given changes to cylix’s, these were cut in favor of seats/sigils for improved tempo).

Really good deck, love how it's almost impossible to get power screwed. Went 20-1. Lost to the final boss because of luck on their end!

Thanks so much!, I was very pleased to see how well it worked even after 2 years or so. I often found missing power drops or getting stuck at 2 was one of the biggest reasons for loss on gauntlet, so I put a lot of work into the power base! Very glad to hear of your success, happy grinding!

Has this deck been upgraded with all of the newest cards?

I have been going through the new cards to see if there are any that perform better. At present I am testing Xo instead of mokhnati. Another possibility is Sashenka instead of Mokhnati. At this point I think there are some potential swaps for variety, in terms of units one likes to play, but overall I am happy with the deck. I am open to any feedback or suggestions for swaps, as I am definitely still going through all of the “new” cards.

I’m interested to hear about how your changes work- I am presently testing out Xo (instead of Mokhnati)<(for inscribe, card draw, and removal>, so far seems to be superior. I had previously tried touvon, but ultimately cut him because of the triple cost. I have considered Rimescale in the side, and will be interested to hear how it runs main. Happy Grinding!
