When I played the list I was talking to the number one on ladder (Buckwheat) it is his deck I found it on this site. He said it was bad, and I told him the deck has been performing very well for me, and this being my first tournament I thought I would just test the waters. I did not by any means think I would top 8 with this, it is a fun, solid deck, really meant more for ladder grinding, but I made it to the finals. Nearly every deck we see here on this site can be fine tuned and made in several forms, the game is still fresh. Stick with something and play it long enough and you'll know what you can and can't do.

Almost every r/g plate deck looks like this they do well since stonescar got somewhat smaller. You dont need to draw extra cards when your opponent cant beat whats on board. And fixing isant a question when the max this 2r2g and a 5 drop thats a 2of. The land is fine in this 2 color aggro deck. a lot of people play something like this because its good and consistant.

This deck must have just been lucky. It has zero draw. It has zero power fixing. Yeah, it won the ETS or whatever tourney. You stall this deck just a little and it's game over for it.
