Hi Aetherllama.

Very nice deck. Special thanks for adding the Wisp. Suprised by how good it is in this deck.

I had some issues against aggro and maul decks and made some tweaks.

Replaced (Nocturnal Observer and Herald's Song) with (Master Cartographer and Back-Alley Delinquent).
Extra body and sabotage felt good againt Maul and aggro decks. Especially the sabotage is good bacause the delinquent can also reanimate with vara. Feels good to sabotage enemy mauls and martyr chains. Won some games like that.

Replaced Crystalline Chalice with Infinite Hourglass. Also won me some games against decks using any kind of permafrost.

I usually wasn't playing vs aggro, but if you want to beat aggro then I like your version better. I think you should play at least 1 Chalice or Obelisk for when you have a bunch of dorks but nothing powerful. You don't necessarily have to cut the Hourglass for it, but I would since it is very narrow and the only unit you care about getting permafrosted is Vara, Vengeance-Seeker. You could also cut the Varas for Ripknifes if they are always getting answered and you don't have big issues with aegis.

I'm trying it with with pompous historian instead of the sporefolk as you already have the wisp for the early game and i think it could be nice with all the relics you have. Really like your idea.

Pompous Historian is only 19% to draw a card with the current 3 hits. I think it has potential, but you would have to add more hits for it to be better than Sporefolk.

After some tests you are absolutely right. My issue with Sporefolk is that it can't do much against most threats in the meta, but the influence requirements and the mana cost are just so much better.

I just played a game with this and made a few changes. I switched out spores for Auralian Merchant and Obelisk for Chalice and I have to say the deck feels very powerful. Have not had the chance to go against anything too "meta" but so far with the card selection and easy discard outlets this seems like a good shell if not the ideal deck for big Vara.
