Information

I wanted to build a deck to hit the "Uxu Sated" achievement. Turns out, this also comes in handy for a number of others too.

Basic premise of the deck is to build up enough of a field to fend off your attackers long enough to build a large field, then start trading and sacrificing units (predominantly mandrakes) to build up Uxu, Carnivorous Bloom's battle skills. Twisted Farmer is great for generating quickly sacrificed units, you can also use it defensively with its Ambush ability.

Use Lifesteal to keep your health up, and Euryd, the Drifting Song comes in handy if you want to deliver a killing blow.

Good deck idea! I'm having hard time winning with it, though, probably because I made some substitutions. Do you have any tips on how to play it?

Some other points:
*The curve seems really high-costed
*There are market access cards, but no market. Was this intentional?

I'd suggest this is a Gauntlet only deck. Trying to use this on ranked/casual play will likely get you killed more often than not. I will not claim to have won 100% of my games with it, but if you can survive the early rounds, I found myself filling my fields with massive mandrakes. Remember, losing units and filling your void is not necessarily a bad thing with this deck. Uxu, Carnivorous Bloom actually NEEDS units to go the void to collect all the battleskills etc..

Yes, the initial curve does look high, but recognise that Shoaldredger and Rosebloom Mandrake (two of the most expensive cards) have conditions that make them significantly cheaper during play.

The Vine Grafter does give market access, but I was more interested in it being a Mandrake, and its early Regen battle skill. I agree that the deck could probably be enhanced/customised by adding a market, but even without the market, you can still use the ability to grant another unit Regen as well. Feel free to add your favorite cards!
