Personally I think Valiant Guardian is kind of bad. There are times you are trying to close the game with him and maybe some 3/3s, then you are forced to play a sweeper. Also comes down on 8 and doesn't effectively stablize.

I replaced them with 4x Moonstone Vanguard. It's a Time land on one if you need the power, and has an impact much earlier than Valiant and it draws a card turns earlier. In my experience, the deck is much improved when we do this.
