Well, this deck ended up doing much better than I expected. Three colors, questionable fixing, meh units.... and a pile of broken rares. Turns out the latter are pretty good!
P1P1 was
Vodakhan's Staff, P1P2 was
Stoneshell Walker. Signals weren't that strong in the first pack. I did pick up a
Seasoned Drillmaster and
Master's Blade, which put me pretty solidly in Justice, but I wasn't sure of my other colors. I had grabbed a
Display of Honor and a
Display of Vision, which meant I wanted to be FJP or JTS, but wasn't really sure which.
P2P1 was between
Acedonis, Untainted and
Feartracker, which sort of forced the question. At this point in time, I hadn't really grabbed any fixing, and I really wanted to play Vodakhan's Staff, so that was the tiebreaker - I'm okay with being a 3F greedpile, but 4F is a bit too much... Picked up a
Touch of Battle, which went well with the
Switchblade Deadeyes and
Mithril Paladins. Got a
Cast into Shadow P4, which really helped out a ton.
Games were generally a midrange-fest, trading units back and forth. The Paladins ended up being quite good when backed up by pump effects and combat tricks - I got off
Mithril Mace multiple times, which was great.
MVP:
Cast into Shadow. Card is insane in Draft, as usual.
