I had removed the description because my friend made fun of me. But, forget my friend according to the comments. We both enjoyed that, so thank you.

I've been trying pretty hard to make a flamestoker control that isn't in these colors, but every shell I came up with seemed awful by comparison. The deck has been doing better than I thought it would. Playing overpowered 1 cost removal and a ton of aoe to deal with aggro, then 4 vanquish and 6 harsh rules to deal with the mid game.

I thought that running 4 cookbooks would make the deck overly susceptible to relic hate; instead, it has ended up helping more than hurting. People often waste bore and other removal on the cookbooks. Red market seems great, but the lack of aegis makes it much worse in an otherwise unitless deck. The armor from Sword of the Skyking will close out aggro matches if they drag out. There are some cute interactions where Flamestoker turns hailstorms, runehammer, and torches into effective removal against bigger units. A lot of the success is probably because my opponents never realised what they were playing against. Finally, Maul is necessary, because… maul.

I did this, and it's won me the game every time I drew it and got to 7. Cancelling out all the firebombs is pretty sweet.

Having only two fire sigils means sometimes you can't use Seek Power to get to Flamestoker influence.

I actually just ran into this problem with primal influence because of hailstorm and wisdom. The manabase almost certainly could do with some changes, but it's not something I'm good at. I don't think fire influence is a concern though since Flamestoker is much farther away than wisdom and you will have usually drawn many cards by then. I will keep it in mind though. Thank you.

5 sigils is universally too low if you're running seats. First thing to do is drop 3 crests for more sigils nd probbaly a waystone as well.

Skyking's sword? I had actually been lamenting the lack of ability to gain life to close out close games. I just played a few hours with 2 in the deck and a lot of games turned into me praying to draw them, so they seem pretty good.
