I've been playing this to fairly good effect, but I'm not a fan of the Ayans. Cutting them for the Scribes and extra Vara's Choice, and putting Cirso in the market for the one matchup where I thought Ayan was helpful (against Scourge of Frosthome)

Nah, he's good with 5*P, which the deck can get reliably by turn ~7. The 5*S ability is just gravy; you care that it shows up eventually but if you don't get it until turn 15, that's totally fine.

I am returning to Eternal, and this is the first deck I crafted to play on the ladder. I love Feln decks, and this has a very interesting take on Feln Control I think :)

Would Teacher of Humility fit in this deck? Or that would be better just against other control decks?

I haven't tried it because I don't own them but you might be able to to fit it in the temple scribe slot. The double time however is tough for turn two so you won't be playing teacher on turn two a lot though.
