I always seem to have a hand full of spells and no units with this deck.

You should be holding up units until you can unit + spell in the same turn, with the possible exception of Hojan and the vanilla 4/4 guy, b/c it's easy to strand spells that have to target your own dudes.

That means not playing anything until turn 5-6 half the time.

Just means playing off-curve - plus I didn't even count the merchants and Valk Enforcers, which are fine on 3 since they have ETB value. But yeah, it's a slow midrange deck and sometimes it will just lose to straight out aggro. Against everything else it's totally fine to wait and use draw spells or merchants until you can Feast-Caller + Savagery or Aniyah hold up Levitate.
