I’m back again with one of my favorite cards in Eternal,
Dichro's Ruin. This deck was originally a random idea from my former 4 faction and 4 1/2 faction control builds that gained way too much popularity.
**IMPORTANT NOTE** The game becomes almost unbearably slow after your extra turn count exceeds 50. Unless they fix it, try and keep it under control. I also discovered that when your true maximum power is in the thousands, the game only gives you 998 power per turn.
So this deck is already fairly good in itself, with tons of draw ability, relic search ability,
Perilous Research to help with relic costs and playability, a few board wipes to save our bacon when it gets dicey,
Diamond of the Valley to help power progression into 5-6,
Mask of Torment to make our maximum power go absolutely nuts,
Passage of Eons for mirror matches,
Lumen Reclaimer to make our near-infinite number of turns playable without decking ourselves, an extra 7-draw in market, extra life gain and spell restriction (
Arcane Restraint), and overall lots of ways to win.
Now into the combo in here that’s just absolutely freaking broke:
Meditative Trance,
Mask of Torment,
Diamond of the Valley/
Pinnacle of the Reach, and
Rewind. This deck went from somewhat viable to bonkers unless you get rng screwed. You can feasibly take up to 200 turns in a row (though keep in mind turn time limits do restrict this and you’ll have to spam as quickly as possible after you’ve done everything else you want done that turn first but either way- it’s a lot of turns).
If you make it to 20-40 power, you win. There’s no real exception to that. Once you land 2+ Rewind, it’s done. They lose. Anyway I’ll stop ranting about it so you all can have fun with it. Ideas?
