My take on the nightfall maul combo. Idea is to get ahead and stay ahead, try to finish with a large maul. Has a smoother sigil base in comparison to the 3 color versions, and has a better game against aggro decks than the primal/shadow version. Teacher is there to try and mess up their nightfall draws, SST is just a good beater and I'm playing zero flyers. Call of the Ancients is the spicy one, usually this type of card is kinda bleh because you're not getting an immediate impact, but with all the nightfall it is much easier to draw these. 24 nightfall enablers keeps your winter grasps as almost permanent removal. Hardest matches have been haunted highway with all the lifegain, they race much better. Easy matches are the one spell per turn midrange and control decks. Only change I may make is something to pop aegis, as equivocate is the only one that does it besides the one rain of frogs in the market.
Edit: Alright maybe call was too cute, put snow pelting in for aegis pop and early removal, working better.
Edit: Defiance update. Focus is on trying to get to two spells per turn by keeping curve low and trying to maintain a continuous nightfall. Resolute monk and Cylak have been great additions and gloaming wisp helps smooth out your early draws.
