Made it to Masters in 3/4 days on this deck alone. The challenge was to create a deck using only uncommons + commons and no cards from the campaigns and ride that puppy all the way to the top. It can be done. It has been done. Heaven help me we did it. ^_^

Karas Edited Eternal Version: 1.42
So I've just played 5 games with this deck. 1-4. There's no hard removal, andthing with more than 3 health isn't going to suffer if they can out aggro you. There's no safe way to keep your units and it leaves you open to just be bullied over and over again. I commend you for getting to masters with it, but I can't win more than one game in Bronze.
Karas Eternal Version: 1.42
Honestly the more I play this deck the more I get annoyed with it. It needs removal if nothing else. If you can't muddle a win by turn 4 (which isn't possible) then you're doomed to lose as the units being played are too big for you to defend against. Anything with flying or deadly gets away for free, puts a complete stop to anything you wanted to do with this deck. I seriously can't understand how you're making it work becasue I'm over here playing with it like a thumbless idiot smashing my face into my screen. a 10% win rate is worse than the standard decks that the game gives you.
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.42
It's important to note the meta when this deck was created: October 2018 was very different from December 2018 with Set 5. I haven't taken a set 5 look at this archetype, though it's on my hit list.
I'd actually likely expand the list to 3 faction based off of the support in FJP with this latest set. That's a challenge for future kyng though: Screw that bastard
Karas Eternal Version: 1.42
Sorry man, I'm just tired and I'm facing nothing but top teir decks in Ranked, flip to casual and getting the same decks. For a newer player this isn't a nice gaming environment. Losing most of your games with no way of rectifying the issue oyther than maxing out my credit card on packs just has me a little irked this morning. I should maybe go back to bed. Sorry for getting so angsty with my comments.
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.42
No worries dude. I feel you, especially with how prevalent Xenan Relics is on the ladder at the moment. I should make my next project tearing that apart... It'll have to wait until after my surgery, but I wanna help
Karas Eternal Version: 1.42
I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I’m just going to keep pushing to get some gold for drafts. That seems to be where I’m having the most fun.

zarkolomej Edited Eternal Version: 1.40
Are there any cards from campaigns or defiance that you'd add to this deck? If so what would you replace for those?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.42
With set 5 being very relics matter, I'd lean heavily on a bore in market or even main deck build. If you want a well built deck without restrictions like the common/uncommon only challenge here I highly recommend NRausch1's lists. The dude is a god.
MiraliS Edited Eternal Version: 1.40
Hey man, just started playing recently and I love your deck. It's gotten me to Gold 2 and I've been watching your videos on twitch too :)

Wanna know what unit should I replace for Unseen Commando Hammer of Might Shogun's Scepter and Navani, Warsingerand how many of each should I use?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.42
I've answered this a couple times in the comments below. However, without the restrictions of the challenge I'd look at cards like Rakano Plate to top this out before Navani any day
Razfrost Eternal Version: 1.40
The deck seems good but ladder can be hard without legs and rares. So if i can manage to get this rares where should i put them?
*Unseen Commando
*Hammer of Might
*Shogun's Scepter
*Obliterate
Any card to remove some relics? Bore Could be a great option. And no merchant to include?
:)
krymsonkyng Edited Eternal Version: 1.40
All solid adds especially if you swap in a merchant (recommend Ixtun, to pull Obliterate, Bore, Cookbook, or other niche answers). For budget Relic removal there's Kaleb's Intervention as well.
Razfrost Eternal Version: 1.40
Yeah sure but what im asking is what card of your list you would replace for the ones i mention? xD Because i dont know what to sub. All fit well in this list
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.42
I recommend 1 for 1 swaps near the same points on the power curve. So Hammer of Might for Morningstar and so on. I'd have to play with those adds to feel out which worked best for my style. I recommend you do the same, especially with some of the new Rakano cards in Defiance.
pipsqueakpukepants Edited Eternal Version: 1.40
I know you mentioned Unseen Commando, Hammer of Might, and Shogun's Scepter. But are there any other non budget cards you would add? Any Legends? Ive got a good collection but not everything. I swapped Command for the Familiar. and the hammer for morning star. Maybe Harsh Rule
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.40
Harsh Rule would help if you hold back and go for a midrange strategy - not quite what the deck is built for. Obliterate would give better spot removal and a decent top end win condition. I've toyed with Navani, and Sherrif Marley, though any low cost unit with multiple skills stands to synergize with Reinvigorate and an aggro strategy.
sayn0thing Eternal Version: 1.40
If you had to add some non-budget options what would they be?
krymsonkyng Edited Eternal Version: 1.40
Unseen Commando gets a lot of mileage and is a fantastic target for reinvigorates.

Hammer of Might on a berzerking barbarian is freaking wonderful. Shogun's Scepter is awesome.
sped13 Eternal Version: 1.40
What would you suggest to replace for the hammer and scepter?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.40
The morningstars and Katanas, leaning towards a full set of what you prefer.
sayn0thing Eternal Version: 1.40
NICE! will add :)
Haydar Eternal Version: 1.40
What do you think of adding Valkyrie Cadet to this?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.40
She's a bit vulnerable, but a decent answer to Varas as a replacement for Silverwing Familiar. I'll tinker with her.
Cerates Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
Lol first game in Gauntlet (Master) ended with 79 health. :D
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.40
Hell yeah ^_^
Sinister90 Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
Pretty decent deck and shows that rakano is still one of the best climbing decks and much cheaper than skycar
i just had some power base issues, like drawing only depleted power
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.40
Recommend working in some Diplomatic Seal in there
Zequinn Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
pure shit deck

martyvburen Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
If ever there was a tribe/style that lent itself well to budget, it's Rakano Aggro. It's the first archetype I played when I started Eternal, and it's great to see it's still relevant. You get an upvote.
VaeVictis Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
Thank you for posting this decklist! I've only been playing this game for a week now, but I have several years worth of experience with MTG. I only had to spend 1500 shiftstone to make this list, but in the last 8 hours I've managed to grind from Bronze III to Gold II. I'm having trouble climbing at the moment, but I'm very happy to get this far without breaking the bank. I've got 27K shiftstone lying around, but I'm saving it for something that's less all-in.
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.40
Fast, cheap, and effective. I love how overlooked Reinvigorate is as an enabler. Glad it's helped you hit Gold.
linyvine Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
I love it, this sort of deck is what helps new players get started! good job. Idk about the deck creator, but my own legendary/rare upgrades would be Copperhall Cudgel should be replaced asap with hammer of might, yes it costs one more but the warcry will be a huge boost. Morning star should probably become Rakano plate for the same reason, 1 more cost but will literally win the game I would potentially even as is, go with 2 more whirlwind duo over morning star, duo is easily the strongest 3 drop in this faction and make reinvigorate SO much better. Weapons are also dangerous in a meta with so much hard removal, u may get 1 attack with a weaponed up creature if you lucky, but I feel spells are safer, they are generally cheaper and more instantaneously gratifying
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
In the rare+ version of this deck Hammer of Might definitely plays a star role. I've also added a Navani top end, and when the deck wide +4/+4 hits, it feels sooooo good. I'll have to check out Rakano Plate and see if it fits, but I'm worried about bulking the top end much more. Aggro needs to get in quick and secure the win before removal becomes backbreaking.
linyvine Eternal Version: 1.39.0.5742
Ive been playing 4 unseen commando over the bird, they are so strong
TheStray Eternal Version: 1.39
I've been playing this today. It was working great until I got to Gold Rank II and then I'm just kind of stuck. I have trouble trying to figure out what to discard to get temper and I seem to be lacking in power. I think I'm doing something wrong. I'm kind of new to the game, and I'm not sure I understand the transmute ability. When I have 5 power does this just turn the card into something else or do I get the power out of it or should I play it as a power card when I need to?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.39
Those are some of the tougher decisions in piloting this deck. Transmute changes the card into a +3/+3/+Lifesteal buff after your max power reaches 5 total. You either want to spend those early on bad hands to ensure a strong turn 2 play, or hold them to use as back up combat tricks if you start to flood. 4/5 Power is this deck's sweet spot so you should discard using the Barbs with intent to reach that if possible. You can do *almost* everything you need to with 3 power. There are a few games in my Twitch's previous videos that kind of showcase the planning needed, and I try to talk through each move as I play. You may want to give those vids a look, or tune in later tonight/tomorrow. If you're up for a friendly match we can talk through plays too. You want steady damage on, until you can perform a crippling blow using your weapons + buffs.

The meta kinda just got blown open with the balance changes though, so while I expect this deck to perform better against some of the troublesome time matches, that's no guarantee some dark horse won't come and outrun it.
TheStray Eternal Version: 1.39
Thanks for the deck. I only had to spend a little bit to finish this deck and its definitely getting me further along than I have with the standard decks. I am new to transmute but its kind of a neat thing to be able to add this to my deck building. So glad this deck was at the top and I got a chance to see it.
LeadToGold Eternal Version: 1.39
I've lost most of my discard/Vara matchups. Any hints on how to play against it?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.39
Against Vara you need to go wide and use units as insurance. You can combo over her if it's early enough, but the lifesteal can be a backbreaking wall if she comes back. Even then it's a tough fight.
Zubr Eternal Version: 1.39
Please, write possible Legend replacement!
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.39
Everything I've tried to tune it up with has slowed it down to more of a midrange feel, and diluted the number of targets for the combat tricks. I've got a different twist listed (called "reloaded") but it's not nearly as consistant.
Selektiv Eternal Version: 1.39
Yes would be a very good addition! Would be awesome with some kind of legend replacement list and in which order to do it :D
darasirous Eternal Version: 1.39
yeah iam lose vs this deck
LeoGV Edited Eternal Version: 1.39
I have to say this: I don't know why but this deck is really great! I haven't used it on ranked (since I've been doing insanely great with Skycrag) but I used it on casual and I won 6 out of 6 games I played. I would really recommend this deck to someone who is starting the game since is quite cheap. Thanks for posting the deck!
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.39
Glad to hear you've had success with it. ^_^
Rainhall Eternal Version: 1.39
I have overlooked Copperhall Cudgel. Now it makes perfect sense. It avoids the "2 for 1" problem when an opponent kills your weaponed unit because you get a nerfed version of the base unit back.

How did you do against Sandstorm Titans?
krymsonkyng Eternal Version: 1.39
Depends on when they hit the board. Early on there are enough pieces to combo over them. Late in the game however, they're pretty devastating
