This weeks buildaround is One Eye Returned. I decided to adapt a list from last sets expedition format, FTS Reanimator. That deck used
In Service to reanimate big units like Sadistic Grimalkin or Relentless Hare. While One Eye Returned can't perfectly replicate that idea because he is not always active and because he can't be recycled with Vanguard, he still does a pretty good job and even has some advantages over In Servive (comes with a decently sized unit and destroys the opponent's void).
Because the reanimation part is less consistent than last set, I decided to just build it as a midrange deck with some good reanimation targets (like Wasp, Predator, Vanguard or Grimalkin). FTS doesn't have the 12 mark set-up, but a combination of sigils (+ sigil fetchers), Cylixes and Seats worked well so far. Lastly I added some early game in Murgo and Keeper, both of which also help with filling the opponent's void for One Eye, and removal. The market is a bit greedy, but I wanted consistent access to Hermit's Scheme without having to play multiple copies in the main deck.
So far the deck worked a lot better than expected (6:0 on ladder), but I could definitely see it struggle against the good FTP Midrange and decent aggro starts.
