Amped Soldiers

Just another expedition deck that I made for fun. Probably not Tier 1 but it certainly seems competitive. I think I've gone something like 8W / 2L with it so far.

This deck is pretty straight forward for the most part. However, here are a few things to note:

1. This is a go wide aggro deck. Early on, it may not be quite as fast as most traditional aggro decks but it has the capability of going much wider, which allows you to ultimately overrun your opponent with sheer number of units. With a lack of board wipes in the current Expedition list, this strategy seems to be working pretty well.

2. Amplifying with Battlefield Chanter and/or Asri Scout in play is some serious value! Especially with Send for the Reserves.

3. Daru Lee is a very good card. With the number of units that this deck generates, paying 1 and exhausting one of your other soldiers to give her +3/+3 can put a lot of pressure on your opponent early. Her amplify has won me a few games as well. Also note that if you pump her for +3/+3 and Imbue her with Maveloft Huntress, the Huntress keeps her stats.

4. Frostwave is incredible in this deck! Stunning multiple units with amplify not only creates more units with Battlefield Chanter but also clears the way for your attack.

4. Albon, Fallen is also quite good in this deck. Playing this guy will force your opponent to attack with all of their units on their next turn, leaving them without blockers and oftentimes allowing you to close the game on your following turn.

5. On to the market. Speed Grafter is perfect for this deck in many ways and doesn't need much explaining. Most of the time my first market grab is Wasteland Broker. I usually give him the Charge and +1/+1, making him an immediate threat. Not to mention, immediately putting 4 copies of another market card into the top 20 of your deck. I don't use Xumuc Whisper much but it can be useful. Maddening Whisper is a great for clearing any pesky blockers (also Amplify!). Onoris Roa works well if you have some excess power and need some life (also Amplify!). World of Power is an excellent finisher.
