This deck is AMAZING!!! It took me from Gold III to masters with an amazing win streak. I tried a bunch of other decent decks like the standard xenan and praxis midrange decks, and they actually pushed me backwards (from diamond 2 to diamond 3 at the time) In the last 16 games before masters it lost 3 times! Yep. As in more than 75% win rate. Losing only with bad draws to control decks and once to the most amazing skycragg aggro hand I've ever seen. So, unless Skycragg gets a 5/3 champion with berserk on turn three, this deck can beat any archetype, and I wouldn't say it really has any weaknesses. The Rakano matchup isn't amazing, cause the decks are quite similar, but I'm pretty it beats rakano over 50% of the time as well if memory serves. It is possible that you might want 4 Ironfist Chancellors; cutting Amilli, convoy, and one other card, but I don't have 4, and I'm content with where it stands. You might also want at least 2 Amillis, but again, I don't have em and don't think it's a big enough deal to make em. I might actually end up cutting Amilli and a Sherrif for two more convoys, but that'll depend on if tjp control returns to its full popularity.
Some quick notes: District infantry is AMAZING!!!! If you cut it, you'd better be cutting it for harsh rules and your deck will play entirely different. They give you a seriously agressive start in your opening hand, and due to the relatively consitent highstats and low cost of 1 mana, they frequently are a Godsend late game as well. I know the card isn't amazing, but it is in this deck, and there are certainly no better 1 drop units in green. Other than that, runehammer and tons of aegis are what make this deck great! Vanq. Blade OWNS Vara decks every time (In the roughly 1,000,000,000,000 times my opps have played Vara, I've had to sac a unit 1 time, and 1 time only. It was the 7th time they played Vara that game....). And the other unmentioned card choices are awesome as well.
Mantle is the king of this market, with Vanq. to take care of extra fatties, harsh rule against all midrange decks if they look like they'll survive long enough to have a chance to run away with the game. Reinvigorate DESTROYS Skycragg aggro, and Skysword owns tjp control, but might need to come out for a privilege of rank.
Enjoy!!!
