Jarrall Ascending is so insanely good that I'd run four [slightlyweaker] extra copies of him at double the cost, and that's exactly what
Learned Imitator is doing here.
Turbo out
8P, then burn your opponent with multiple Jarralls.
Keep in mind you can use
Ice Bolt as a
Last Rites to ramp.
Imperial Loyalist + any 2 cost spell= Either EHG or Jarrall. You can use
Reweave on her to set up multiple Jarralls in the late game and burn'em out.
Try to play defensive before you get 8P. We run lots of removal and hand fixing to make sure we survive and consistently reach the late game.
Against a lot of opponents (those who have
Torch/
Sear/etc) try holding jarrall in your hand until reaching 6P so he doesn't die to 3 damage. In general If you're not under pressure and in need of a blocker or desperate for his card draw ability, it's better to keep Jarrall in hand.
This is by no means a good gauntlet grinder. There are better grinders out there if you want gold, but if you're a Gauntlet enthusiast and looking for diversity, give this a try.
