This is my attempt at making a Throne version of
Grenahen, Ready for Launch!. ...I think it worked. But Gren had to be sacrificed for the greater good.
Grenahen, like in all Grenadin decks, is pretty crazy, and fetches what you need quite often. Except
Align the Tesseract. You'll need to find that with other means. Thankfully, this deck has them in spades.
Crafty Occultist, while a bit difficult to ideally play, has quite a few good discard outlets, and lets you search for the necessary pieces, and often gives you a friend to boot.
Devour and
Display of Menace are old standbys that are great to dig you further into the deck while sacrificing your (mostly) expendable army.
Jotun Hurler features here, too, being free discard outlets and another spell for the Tesseract Prime.
Realign the Stars can fetch both the big spell and the one copy of
Razorblades, which still is useful on occasion. Finally,
Dark Purveyor and
Scraptank are both topend that's not easy to handle for quite a few Throne decks.
The
Condemn market is still here, with the major difference of being able to
Blazing Salvo for
Edict of Shavka, generating tons of advantage while hating on the largest meta influences in Throne. (This Salvo was removed when I realized that Seek Power was necessary.)
EDIT: Replaced Devours with
Desecrate to give the list a bit more hard removal against some of the bigger units that can be encountered. I felt there was enough card draw already. In addition, I simply removed the Purveyors, and altered the market.
Also Into the Furnace seems made for this archetype, no?
Also, Into the Furnace is... actually quite overlooked. It's probably worth using what with Dovid being a popular guy. Probably over the Desecrate slot, though I have warmed up to that option. Might be something I tinker around with later. And speaking of tinkering, I might as well update this deck with my own personal changes I made in my climb through Throne...
