The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I dropped from D1 to D3 with this deck in 3 days. It was a slow fall, though, hahaha. And this deck is certainly a lot of fun to play.
It is not easy to play and a small mess-up is a game over most of the time. My biggest issue with the deck is the „correct opening“ because ideally, you would open with Hero + some kind of Aegis, but that requires 5 power. So most of the time the battleskills I want are already on the field and it takes a while until I can get them on hero.
I had troubles against any aggro deck and often troubles with a bad draw - especially not getting removal. Removal is very tricky because this list can do some incredible chain-killer moves, but in many matches I did not draw any of the 4 cards to initiate them. Also, it depends on the hero to become really great and sometimes I did not draw it or I played the hero too early and it got roasted..
IMO hero is not super important, and I know others were discussing cutting her, but I usually hold her for T4 with one of the exalted 1 drops. there's a lot of match-up plays and card reading to be done to play effectively, something that I am quite good at and has perhaps warped the perceived strength of the deck. in theory aggro shouldnt be too unfavoured due the the high access to lifesteal+early plays
As always, I have a bit of trouble with decks that need/like to have 4+ power but have almost no draw smoothing. A lot of games with insufficient power or flooding.
Regardless, there is definitely a bit of a learning curve with this deck. Stuff like chaining multiple Killer attacks by suiciding/trading off your smaller exalted units.
I’ve been playing the list as you've shown it, but gonna make adjustments now that I’ve gotten a bunch of games in. Did you try Crownwatch Press-Gang? Seems like a natural fit with all the 1 drops.
I didnt consider that, I made this list in an hour and played all my games with pretty much 0 changes. honestly I will probably move onto a new deck and leave others for tuning, I'm much better at creating than tuning
Agreed. Ya gotta know when to play off-tempo by holding up cards to play all at once, and when to rush out. A lot of it is just having a deeper understanding of the decks you're facing and combrei aggro in general
copperhall bracers aint kalebs persuader but we cant all be that sexy , still pretty good ! also not sure on hero of the people here , on refining she might go
