A fresh spin on an established favorite. Kairos is insanely good, and it isn't as difficult to hit influence or power requirements as you might think. Been playing this in Masters for kicks, and it is performing well.

I'll add a thorough guide and update this weekend after I've had a chance to do some more testing.

In the current meta this deck is just way, way too slow. With no hailstorm in either the main deck or market and no ramp to establish a board before they go wide, aggro just automatically wins.

I found the maindeck Kairos to be overkill when resolved and hand clogging when not, and actually a liability vs. unitless control since it can be hit by royal decree. A good deck in a lot of ways, but it sucks when you spend 12,800 shiftstone (or $49.99, if you prefer) to craft the Kairos, only to learn that this deck crumbles to a good aggro player/deck because it didn't have the foresight to include a hailstorm game. And before you think that torches, permafrosts, equivocates, snowballs, etc. are enough, remember you can only draw so many cards in time, which is why it's pivotal that 1 hailstorm take out so many units.

Also, I don't even have Kairos yet, I can just read the writing on the walls with this particular build through experience with other Jennev constructs.

That having been said, I think that making room for 3 hailstorms and 1 side, would make this list quite impressive.

P.S. I think the Sandstorm include is a necessary choice (among others, of course).

Yo Void, did you miss the memo? Why in the world would you put hailstorms in this deck. You have tons of removal, and the meta is literally flooded with UNITLESS control lists. Can you say dead cards my man? Don't change a thing Kaze, this list is solid AF as is.

Apparently, you missed my entire comment. The point is, you are almost guaranteed to win if you get enough mana. The only thing (mostly) stopping you is a solid aggro draw (remember they can play hand removal/recursion, etc.). Play only hailstorms and you lose to a good aggro deck/player/draw, play a bunch of cheap removal and no hailstorms and you lose, just the same, because you can only draw so many cards (same as them).

Crafted 1 Kairos - for the market - and the deck still does great.

Normally would craft 3 more but with FOX days away, will have to restrain myself until I see other legs.

P.s. Mirror image on Kairos is insane, I even pulled off a mirror on a mirrored Kairos, so I had 2 x 12 damage, plus like a zillion cards.

Agree with this. I think Dillon is on a drunken rant here, based on his poor spelling and unsolicited biography, lol. I'm glad Kaze is promoting the new content, especially since he was specifically asked where to find it. Discouraging support for a game we obviously enjoy is insane. Keep up the good work OP.

So I agree with showing love to DWD however I won’t be preordering this content this time. I’m sure the preorder is a deal especially for the content only found doing so through the preorder.. however that specific content isn’t appealing to me this time around. This is coming from someone who spent $500 back in 2018 when I first started playing. Upon stopping to enlist in the Army in 2018 in August and returning the same mknth this year, literally taking a year break I’ve already bought all three levels so to speak to the trials of Grodov and bought gems just to buy gems and to show love to DWD because I’ve always said they deserve it for truly having a game like no other in a genre that is known for pay to win or pay to enjoy market schemes whilst having a free to play option truly viable and actually easy to obtain for those unlike myself who don’t went to spend money or simply just can’t even if they do desired for whatever cause.


So yeah I agree with y’all however I simply won’t be spending the money to get the card in order to enjoy a new take on a deck 🤪🤓🤪
