Information

Just started playing when the Twitch Prime deal came out and I went all-in on trying to go from a very budget aggro list to this current one. I was hoping for some advice, not sure if there are some concepts I am missing or maybe cards that I should remove/add. Thanks in advance.

Hello! Long time rakano player here, I've been playing rakano pretty consistently since I started playing. It feels like you have two different vibes going on, where you start off as aggro but then also have a midrange situation going on with your merchant and the amount of power you have.

To fix this, I would cut out Steady Marshal and drop in Crownwatch Paladin instead. That'll keep it semi aggro but smooth out your curve a little bit. Additionally, this gives you another aegis unit to stick your equipment on. Merchant isn't an awful choice, I would replace Ruin with Bore, since it can pop aegis and remove equipment. I would also cut down to maybe 27 power at most, and stick in some more Copperhall Bracers or Sheriff Marley; one will help you thin your deck out, the other will give you another aegis body to stick equipment on.

Edit: I'm not that sure on my changes anymore. I played the deck through a gauntlet and then five games in Masters. I'm not sure if masters is the best place to test, since people tend to play janky or off meta things for fun, but I finished 7-0 gauntlet and won all 5 games. It's a strangely consistent deck, and I did get lucky enough to pull copperhall bracers in my opening hand in 3 of the 5 games, allowing me to drop it on a 1 or 2 drop and ramping fast. I still think Bore should replace ruin in the market, but other than that, it might require more testing.

Hello, thanks for the reply! I appreciate the insight as a big noob. I will make the swap on bore (if I have it). Keep me posted if you have any additions if you keep testing. Thanks so much!!!
