The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I played a bit with this deck today. I won two games against arguably "bad decks" but it was incredibly anemic against most decks that had any kind of removal...how did this make the top 32?
This deck went 21-3 against the fairly aggro-oriented meta of the Saturday tournament. This deck does struggle with board wipes, and to a lesser extent with removal piles, hence the sabotages and slow in the market. Those cards and decks can still be beaten, but it's a fine line to tease out those wipes without overcommiting.
What is the purpose of Wingbrewer in this deck? I do not want to dust off a mythic that I would not use in any other deck unless it serves a serious purpose...
Wingbrewer is a 1-of late game card that's there because it's card draw if the game is stalled, AND it has a side effect that synergizes with our deck. It is by no means necessary. You could play almost anything in this slot. There are plenty of other cards that might break a stall for you.
Try Dreamsnatcher. I've played them and taken them out in the past because of the influence requirement, but it sort of fills the same role. Plus Dreamsnatcher on 2 can enable Premonition Wisp on 3 which is nice.
This deck hates, Hates, HATES Harsh Rule with the burning heat of 1,000 Amaran Suns. The Slow on Staff of Speed is a chance at getting rid of a card like that. It honestly may not be a well-thought out choice. I was tinkering with the market on the morning of the top 32.
i guess Staff of Speed is a quirky alternative to Infinite Hourglass eh?
