Mono-Time Midrange with LOTS of dinosaurs. I used this deck exclusively to climb from Bronze II through Master. I'll probably update this with a primer later.
In the meantime, for those curious, the Elysian power cards are to bluff a second faction with no real opportunity cost. (I wanted some Crests to smooth out my draws, so why not play some not-sigils that scare people into worrying about actual removal? I'm not sure which faction is beat to bluff, but I'm partial to Primal for reasons.)
Edit: Updated for the new season. Hopefully a bit more refined.
With the Xenan Obelisks in the deck, I'd sooner play a fourth Talir's Favored. If you note the power card and the copy of Worldbearer Behemoth in the market, the deck prioritizes hitting 5/6 power as soon as possible and pouring out huge creatures. It's not at all uncommon to have a turn 3 Worldbearer, although with removal being so good these days, there's never a guarantee that gets you anywhere. (Sometimes it DOES just win you the game though, which feels great!)
I hope you have fun learning the game and improving! The biggest advice I can offer you is to not be afraid to play against the AI - I spend most of my time grinding Gauntlet when I'm not in a competitive mood because it's much easier to win (and who doesn't like winning?), which has a nice side bonus of giving you lots of silver chests.
About spending money I just bought the starter pack and may spend more in future. A nice thing about this game is that you don't need to spend really anything to get anything. You just need time and be good. The time you spend getting gold, cards and shiftsone is like training, you keep learning and getting ideas about what you can do. I want to be good in this game before spending a lot and regret it for not making good use of it.
Worldbearer Behemoth is a great card, really. And I think the main thing of dinosaurs is they are big, somewhat like with sentinels.
Ice Bolt is good but I think it can help the enemy player too, mainly if used in the beginning of the match. If it's missing power you give it to him/her or just speed up his/her game. Against a calculated deck I think it can be fatal. And I think a good deck won't suffer losing just one unit. But anyway it is a big and low cost removal.
I'm focusing mainly on ranked matches. Now that I reached master maybe I'll be more shy there. But I got more easily silver chests from ranked than on gauntlet. I'm not used to play gauntlet on masters and lose a lot. To reach a silver chest on gauntlet I think you need at least 5 consecutive wins. But on the ranked any 3 wins gives you a silver. And there's always a chance to upgrade a chest.
