Whoa marks are incredible and recruit is broken.
My original write up on
Crafty Spire is still relevant as far as general gameplay and most card selections but there are a couple of new key contributors from Battle Lines to highlight.
Blight Pass Smuggler is not new but should have been in here from the beginning. Added 1x so that CPG can tutor for market access when needed. Just another layer of flexibility for executing the game plan.
Druid of the Sands is extremely strong. A 1p 4/1 that draws a unit from the top 5 of our broken deck is so good. It only summons Auralian Merchant and sometimes Xenan Adept, but most of our stuff costs 1-2 so Druid is basically super grenahen. An unspired druid played post spire plays any unit in our deck. Is also tutorable with Press Gang.
One Eye's Choice is a super versatile 2 cost (thanks Salvo) fast that patches tons of holes at once with attachment removal (no curses though), spot removal via killer, reach via overwhelm, and value buying back units from void. Auralian Merchant can't grab it but it does so much more than Recovery that it earned a spot in the market.
And the Marks. Multiple influence as you fill out your influence tray and then guaranteed undepleted power once you've hit your 🌈. Might be the best power cards ever printed.
Other than those few alterations, it's the same story as before.
