People are going back to Rakano Plate due to it being a better positioned aggro deck on ladder. Thought I'd give it a try and this is what I came up with after playing a few matches with different builds. Went 7-1 this morning to climb to 35th masters. Fun deck, tell me what you think!
Basically it's too slow to stop aggro, and doesn't have good enough threats to do anything to midrange, but it's still extremely weak to removal-heavy decks.
The cards that are three of's, you usually want one every game but having more than one could be awkward in your hand.
Four of's are reserved for cards that you want every game or are so critical to your game plan that you must play four.
Musket and Jekk are pretty nice cards but I did not feel like they should be more than 1 of's in this deck.
Would Censari Brigand be worth considering? I feel she meshes quite well with all the weapons, warcries and Cinder Yeti.
Is Finest Hour worth a consideration? In combination with Plate, Yeti, Commando or Whirling it could be quite potent. It also counters Auric Runehammer quite hard and strips off Aegis for Vanquish or Torch.
Brigand would be a really awesome card. I might actually try playing Brigand in my sideboard if I decide to play a deck like this in the ETS.
Finest Hour was in there originally. It was fine but I felt like the weapons served two purposes while having more intimidate impact on the battlefield. With Feln coming back, Weapons allow you to commit to the board while sand bagging your hasty creatures for kills after they hailstorm. Finest hour on the other hand, protects 1 of your creatures from hailstorm but it's on their turn so you're not benefiting from the plus 3 plus 3 damage side of things.
