How's the power base? I've wanted to do this for ages, but Katra is already so influence-intensive, I hesitate to add a 3rd faction.

Have you tried Premonition Wisp?

the power base handles pretty much the same way as say TJP mid's power base handles, that is to say usually it's fine but there are over an average amount of games that is lost to influence screw compared to 2f decks.

I don't like premonition wisp in this version of the list, but I can see it being pretty good if you modify the list to play slightly more passively and run Ancient Bauble over Xenan Obelisk.

This build is a bit more focused on tempo and playing wisp doesn't have the same late game potential as Ayan, the Abductor

I haven't tried this list yet, but any influence issues should be fixed once xenan crest comes out in set 4.
