After the nerfs, Crooked Alleyguide is unplayabily bad. And we need some proactive play in place of her, hence I play 4 copies of shakedown to make sure we still have something to do on our first turn, not to mention that the possibility of taking out enemy's golem or ChaCha is great. I am tired of playing crooked alleyguide on turn 3 and get her killed by salvo, that will usually outright lose me the game. Shakedown is played over suffocate because unlike suffocate, it is actually a good card against control, and the nightfall allows us to play a bit less power than otherwise required. Also, this allows us to play our suffocate in the market, I will say suffocate is an excellent market option. Eclipse Dragon is played over highwayman because we really need our 5 drop to connect, rather than getting blocked on the ground or by the 4 cost time ambush units. Eclipse Dragon is also much better against spell damage based control because they usually can't take out a 4 health unit without using 2 cards. Not to mention this deck has 11 fast spells, which can take benefits of eclipse dragon passive ability. Pyre Elemental is a flex slot which you could replace with any card, he is just there because shakedown + elemental or torch + elemental on turn 3 is such a powerful play and I couldn't think of anything else for that slot.
