Information

Hi guys, a lot of people have been experimenting with Makto Armory and a lot of people have gone down the Statutory Maiden pathway and personally I am not a fan of it, particularly as the common one only runs 1 maiden which you will not draw often in a 75 card deck.

So this here is my version, i've ran 8-1 runs in the recent event multiple times and often get at least 5 wins so has some potential. I have very rarely been completely power or influenced screwed with this iteration and getting the 3F 3J and 2S influence requirements happen very quickly.

Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any, I will do my best to answer them.

Digimonium Eternal Version: 1.22.4
I like that deck, it feels a lot more stable against early flooders, than the Hulkbuster version. It suffers a bit from worse topdecking without quarry and the 4 artisans+ champion of glory but like i said, i would make this trade because with the other version it feels like u are often stuck with doing nothing until turn 4. Did u try 1 Maiden instead of a third valkyrie enforcer? It kinda does the same job since most silences are required for dawnwalker whos extremely popular right now, btw does she even work against makto? Good job, i chose ur deck now over the slower armory by Hulkbuster (or whatever hes called)!

I assume the idea of the one-ofs in the other deck is you can grab them with Rise if required, hence the singleton maiden.
YPTeacher Eternal Version: 1.22.4
That was my thought as well, but why would you rise for that when you can rise for a revenge Makto and get an extra card from the destiny proc? Plus maiden being a relative small body by the time you get it in my experience I get very little out of it, I'm sure someone has manage to get shedloads of cudgels for it in a game or two but I certainly found it hard to get more than 2, so I don't think I could justify putting that in the deck.
Arkimedes Edited Eternal Version: 1.22.4
Interesting deck! I don't have 2 Icaria, so I replaced it with 2 Smugler Stash (Which I think could be good). Also did -1 Rakano Artisan +1 Inspire. Are these chances ok?
YPTeacher Eternal Version: 1.22.4
Smuggler's Stash was a staple card in the traditional armory deck, but I am not sure how good it'll be in this deck considering Makto's revenge only stops if he is silenced and by the time Icaria dies it'll have done it's job anyway. I think the reason for having 4 icaria is that it almost means you won't need to bring ones back from the void as you will most likely get another one anyway.

The one problem I have with inspire in this deck is it's kinda slow. Sure it's only 1 cost and you get a card from it but it only buffs the top unit/weapon when artisan buffs all your weapons when summoned. The other issue is this deck is pretty unit light for a 75 card deck (mine only runs 19) so yours runs 16 which is way too unit light. I would probably revert the latter change, and perhaps put throne warden in instead of the smuggler's stash which means you still keep your unit count at 19. Throne Warden was a card I omitted from the original but if you don't have 4 icaria it's not a bad option to give a weapon 4 health if you can play it correctly, especially given both weapons in the deck have low base health.
lexatu Eternal Version: 1.22.4
Is rakano artisan worth it with only 8 targets?
YPTeacher Eternal Version: 1.22.4
Well it kinda served more than one purpose really, while obviously it's main purpose is to buff up the runehammers and the swords of icaria, it can also serve as a chumper for fast paced aggro decks as well. I did debate not including them but I found them to be really successful as any small buffs on the runehammers means it kills a lot bigger targets. I would understand them being omitted if there is a better option but for me and my somewhat aggressive playstyle I found the artisan fit the deck pretty well.

What would you include in in place of them?
