Information

Reached Masters in April 2021.

Typical Midrange gameplan. The goal is to stack Shadow influence ASAP to get the most out of Acantha Ascending, At Any Cost, Midnight Hunt, and Severin of the Dark.

The early game is important. Balancing your Prize Sows, Shadow Symbols, and Seal of Devotion during the first few rounds can start Acantha Ascending snowballing early. Always be aware of your influence count.

There is a huge surprise factor with this deck. At Any Cost and Midnight Hunt can win games on the spot - keep this in mind when deciding whether to block, bait aggression, etc. Oh, they think this is just a little 1/1 piggy on the field and that they can just swing in with their big fatties? Oopsie, looks like you can crackback for 14 damage at fast speed - thanks Midnight Hunt ;)

Nice deck. What's the point on seal of devotion? I don't see it.

Just the ability to warp it off the top of your deck if you need to draw faster for an answer to something. It's not always the right play though - sometimes you want to be sure you get some influence on a particular turn. But in some other cases, the opponent will win in a few turns if you don't draw some removal or one of your big value cards (At Any Cost, Midnight Hunt), so it's more important to be able to play the Seal of Devotion off the top of your deck so you can get to the card underneath a turn quicker.
